Common use of FACULTY GOVERNANCE Clause in Contracts

FACULTY GOVERNANCE. 7.1 While the Board, acting directly or through its authorized agents, retains final authority as to all matters of institutional governance, it is recognized that the faculty, acting through the Faculty Senate and its Committees (“Faculty Senate”), is responsible for the review and establishment of policy in those areas specified in the Faculty Senate Constitution and Bylaws, subject to the approval processes therein specified. These currently include:
