Continuing Contracts a. A continuing contract is a contract which shall remain in effect until the teacher resigns, elects to retire, or until it is terminated or suspended; and shall be granted only to teachers qualified, as described below, holding Professional, Permanent or Life Certificates or a Professional Educator License. The certificates must be in the field being taught. Holders of a Professional Educator License must also meet either of the following:
Continuing Agreement (a) This Agreement shall remain in full force and effect until such time as the Secured Obligations arising under the Loan Documents have been paid in full and the Commitments have expired or been terminated, at which time this Agreement shall be automatically terminated and the Administrative Agent shall, upon the request and at the expense of the Obligors, forthwith release all of its liens and security interests hereunder and shall execute and deliver all UCC termination statements and/or other documents reasonably requested by the Obligors evidencing such termination.
Continuing Contract Performance Pending final resolution of a Claim including litigation, unless otherwise agreed in writing the Contractor shall proceed diligently with performance of the Contract and the Owner shall continue to make payments in accordance with the Contract Documents.
Effect on Contract Except as specifically required to implement the purposes of this Section of the Contract, all other terms of the Contract shall remain in force and effect.
