Common use of Faculty Salary Scales Clause in Contracts

Faculty Salary Scales. (a) Faculty Salary Scales beginning May 1, 2015, May 1, 2016, May 1, 2017, May 1, 2018; are delineated in Appendices C, D, and E and F(i) respectively. The Scale increases will be as follows: i) Beginning May 1, 2015 = 0% ii) Beginning May 1, 2016 = 1.5% iii) Beginning May 1, 2017 = 1.75% iv) Beginning May 1, 2018 = 1.75% (b) Upon promotion effective July 1, a Member will move to one of the following, whichever is greater: i) the Base Step in the new rank, or ii) the Step in the new rank with the next highest salary compared to the salary he/she began receiving on the May 1 prior to the promotion on July 1, plus one additional step.

The Scale increases will be as follows: (i) Beginning May 1, 2015 2009 = 03.0% (ii) Beginning May 1, 2016 2010 = 1.53.0% (iii) Beginning May 1, 2017 2011 = 1.75% iv) Beginning May 1, 2018 = 1.753.0% (b) Upon promotion effective July 1, a Member will move to one of the following, whichever is greater: (i) the Base Step in the new rank, or (ii) the Step in the new rank with the next highest salary compared to the salary he/she began receiving on the May 1 prior to the promotion on July 1. (c) All increases in salary negotiated as part of this collective agreement will be retroactive to May 1, plus one additional step2009.
