Failure to Meet Time Limits. If a grievance is not processed by the grievant in accordance with the time limits set forth in this Article, it shall be considered settled on the basis of the decision last made by the District. Except as provided herein if the District fails to respond to the grievance in a timely manner at any level, the running of the time limit shall be deemed a denial of the grievance and termination of the level involved, and the grievance may proceed to the next step. 25.1.6.1 Time limits may be lengthened or shortened in any particular case only by mutual written agreement. 25.1.6.2 The parties will attempt, in good faith, to adjust time limit problems which occur above Level I as a result of the summer recess. 25.1.6.3 Time-lines incorporated in this procedure shall be automatically extended in the event of multiple grievance filing with the same immediate administrator.
