Failure to Act Within Time Limits. If the Griever or the Union fails to process a grievance to the next step in the grievance procedure within the time limits specified, they shall not be deemed to have prejudiced their position on any future grievance.

Failure to Act Within Time Limits. Should either party fail to adhere to the time limits, the onus is on that party to show a justifiable reason for its failure to adhere to the limits.
Failure to Act Within Time Limits. If the initiator of the grievance fails to follow the time limits and procedure, the grievance shall be deemed to have been withdrawn.
