Family Events Clause Samples
The Family Events clause defines how certain significant family-related occurrences, such as births, deaths, or illnesses, are addressed within the context of the agreement. Typically, this clause outlines the rights and obligations of the parties if a family event impacts their ability to fulfill contractual duties, such as allowing for leave, rescheduling, or temporary suspension of obligations. Its core function is to provide flexibility and compassion in the contract, ensuring that personal emergencies do not result in undue penalties or breaches.
Family Events. In the event a member requests paid time off (vacation, CTO, or holiday time) not less than two weeks in advance to attend a major family or social event (wedding, birthday, etc.) and permission is granted to attend such event, the permission for time off shall not be cancelled, except in event of emergency. An emergency is defined as circumstances beyond the control of the City and not having been known 48 hours in advance of the circumstance creating the emergency.
Family Events. During the course of the year, each center will host a variety of family events. These events may include Back to School Night, Hauntless House, Trunk or Treat, family informational workshops, holiday celebrations, graduation, picnics, school dances and a variety of other events designed to create a sense of community.
Family Events. For family events all children must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. Adults can only book family events if they are accompanied by children under the age of 12. Family events are suitable for children aged between 5 and 12; accompanying younger siblings are free, unless otherwise stated.

Family Events allow families and children time to share, learn, and have fun. Families have an opportunity to be a part of their child’s learning experience and connect with other families.
