Fees Development and Approval. Fees will be developed on a mutually agreed upon timeline outlined in the ASA, that allows for adequate review and approval. If DPR disagrees with any element of ARC’s fee proposal, the Parties shall collaborate to resolve DPR concerns. In the event the event that a mutually agreeable fee proposal is not achieved, the Superintendent (or Designee) shall make the final decision. ARC may at any time petition DPR for changes in Child Care Program fees to maximize participation; encourage access to Child Care Program for underserved children; preserve Child Care Program viability; of for other good and appropriate reasons.

Fees Development and Approval. For the following academic year (i.e., September through August) for all Child Care Programs, ARC shall propose all-inclusive fees to DPR no later than November 1. Such fee proposals shall comply with the standards for fees provided in the Master Services Agreement unless the parties agree otherwise. DPR shall respond to ARC’s proposed fees no later than December 1. If DPR disagrees with any element of ARC’s fee proposal, the Parties shall collaborate to resolve DPR concerns. In the event a mutually acceptable fee proposal is not achieved by December 15, the Superintendent shall make the final decision. ARC shall issue DPR-approved fee schedules for the following academic year to parents no later than March 15. ARC may at any time petition DPR for changes in Child Care Program fees to maximize participation; encourage access to Child Care Programs for underserved children; preserve Child Care Program viability; or for other good and appropriate reasons. This timeline may be modified by the Parties as needed to respond to marketing and enrollment requirements such as deadlines for publication of program offering brochures, but the basic process prescribed shall apply to whatever timeline the Parties establish.

  • Professional Development and Training 4.1 The purpose of professional development and training requirements for interpreters is to maintain the skill levels interpreters possess at the time they pass their interpreter certification examination, and to further enhance their skills and knowledge. Both the State and the Union encourage interpreters to complete training and continuing education activities.

  • Professional Development Days Upon request, each Employee shall be granted at least three (3) professional development days annually for professional development, at the Basic Rate of Pay. An Employee shall be advised, prior to taking any professional development days of any transportation, registration fees, subsistence and other expenses that will be paid by the Employer. Such hours not used in each fiscal year shall not be carried forward into subsequent years. Applications for such paid professional development opportunities shall be made in writing, to the Employer as early as possible.

  • Professional Development 9.01 Continuous professional development is a hallmark of professional nursing practice. As a self-regulating profession, nursing recognizes the importance of maintaining a dynamic practice environment which includes ongoing learning, the maintenance of competence, career development, career counselling and succession planning. The parties agree that professional development includes a diverse range of activities, including but not limited to formal academic programs; short-term continuing education activities; certification programs; independent learning committee participation. The parties recognize their joint responsibility in and commitment to active participation in the area of professional development.

  • PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT A. The Board agrees to implement the following:

  • Professional Development Allowance 55.1 The CEO may, subject to this clause, approve the reimbursement or payment of financial assistance to a Science and Engineering Professional employee to offset professional development costs.

  • Professional Development Day The Employees shall be entitled to spend three (3) working days with pay for the purpose of doing research and preparation related to their work at a date mutually acceptable to the Employer and the Employee.

  • Job Development Job development/placement is individualized and shall include weekly person-to-person job search assistance, assistance with identifying job leads, interview coaching and support, and maintaining a log of job search activities for the purposes of obtaining competitive integrated employment. By mutual consent of the consumer and the KARINA ASSOCIATION, INC. , these services may be provided in-person or by Skype, FaceTime, or other online communication tools. Job development/placement may also include arranging job trials/job shadowing for individuals with a DORS Trial Work Experience Plan, assistance with completing applications, assistance with employer follow-up after interviews, use of personal employment networks in job search, and resume update. It would include time spent calling employers, visiting and educating employers and similar activities. Job development/placement shall not be paid for using supported employment funding and shall not include the Discovery process, which is pre-vocational in nature and may be completed prior to job development. Up to 60 hours for job search assistance, authorized in 20-hour increments, may be used for job development. Additional hours of job development may be requested and require written justification by KARINA ASSOCIATION, INC. and approval of the DORS regional/program director. Authorizations for Job Development. DORS only pays for job development services which have been previously authorized by a DORS official. Job Development Reporting. The Employment Service Progress Form is expected to be submitted to DORS on a monthly basis per consumer. This form is available on the DORS website (xxx.xxxx.xxxxxxxx.xxx).
