Common use of Fenders Clause in Contracts

Fenders. Steel fenders of 300 mm dia (6 mm thick) are to be provided on either side for 95 percent of the length of pontoons. Tyre fenders of sufficient size are also to be provided on both sides in such a manner that the spacing between them does not exceed 1250 mm. Lugs of not less than 16 mm to tie up these tyres are to be welded to the sides.
