Fertilizing. Apply fertilizer in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.
Fertilizing. Tenant agrees to fertilize using a “Weed and Feed” type fertilizer periodically throughout the year. It is recommended that fertilizer be applied in the early spring, midsummer and late fall.

Fertilizing. Apply high nitrogen ratio fertilizer to turf once a year to encourage top growth. Trees, shrubs and ornamental plantings are fertilized once every year with a balanced ratio fertilizer. Application of trace elements can be done.
Fertilizing a. All turf areas are require to be fertilized. Apply a quick release fertilizer in the spring and use a slow release fertilizer for all other applications. A slow release fertilizer has a minimum of 25% of Nitrogen in a slow release form. Every fertilizer application will be done using the rate of 1 pound of actual nitrogen per 1000 square feet.
b. All parks that have athletic play will receive a minimum of 4 fertilizer applications per year. Applications will be done in early April, mid-May, mid-August, and mid-October. However, if the City determines additional applications are required to maintain healthy turf, it will be the obligation of the contractor to do so at the contractor’s expense.
c. Turf not associated with athletic play will receive a minimum of 3 fertilizer applications per year. Applications will be done in early April, late May or early June, and mid-October. However, if the City determines additional applications are required to maintain healthy turf, it will be the obligation of the contractor to do so at the contractor’s expense.
d. All dates of application will be pre-approved with the Owner in writing so that irrigation schedules can be adjusted and as to not interfere with Community or Recreation pre scheduled events.
e. If iron is applied, it must be a non-staining iron formulation.
f. Fertilizer formulations to be used shall be submitted to the City prior to each application.
g. The amount of fertilizer applied to each individual area shall be submitted to the City after each application.
h. When applying each fertilizer, precautions will be taken by contractor to eliminate product being over applied to gutters, sidewalks, parking lots, and roadways. All over application to gutters, sidewalks, parking lots, and roadways will be cleaned and removed the day they were applied to prevent the discharge of pollutants into the storm water system.
i. The contractor will be liable for any damages occurring due to improper application.
Fertilizing. Frequency: Yearly as scheduled. (See General Specs for reporting requirements) Description: Apply approved products at calibrations rates of 6 lbs N/KSF or lower, and 2 lb P/KSF. With N applications of 3lb N/KSF of granular fertilizer, and 31b N/KSF of foliar application fertilizer.
Fertilizing. 1. Apply fertilizer uniformly and incorporate it into the soil to a depth of at least 2 inches. Fertilizer may be worked into the soil alone or in conjunction with the required lime.
2. Roll the prepared surface with a hand roller weighing not more than 100 lbs/ft. of roller width. Refill with additional topsoil and regrade all depressions caused by settlement during rolling.
