Field Trips Applicable to Education Assistants. When an Education Assistant/Supervision Aide has agreed, and it is pre- authorized by the School Principal that the Education Assistant participate in field trips which extend beyond the Education Assistant’s regular hours of work, the Education Assistant shall receive compensatory time off. Compensatory time shall be accrued at the appropriate overtime rate and shall be taken in blocks at a time which is mutually acceptable to the School Principal and the Education Assistant. Compensatory time not taken prior to June 30th of the year shall be paid out at the appropriate rate.
