Filling All Positions. In filling all paid positions under this Agreement, employees working in other classifications under the jurisdiction of this Agreement shall be given reasonable trial on the basis of seniority to demonstrate their ability in which to qualify for such positions. However, when an employee at his own request is placed in a lower classification, he shall be paid at the rate of the lower classification.
