Reporting Absences (a) Employees are responsible to report to work on time on each scheduled work day.
Reporting Absence Staff who cannot report to work because of sickness or other reasons are expected to telephone within fifteen (15) minutes of their normal starting time, to advise their supervisor of the expected time of their return to work. Staff members who commence work at 16:00 hours or later will make every effort to inform their supervisor(s) of their pending absences as early in the day as possible, and no later than 12:00 hours for the 16:00 hour or 18:00 hour shifts, or 15:00 hours for the midnight shift. However, employees failing to provide notice as stipulated in this Article through circumstances beyond their control shall not be deemed to have violated any of the terms of this Agreement. Staff should inform their supervisor of the reason for their absence. In the event of illness, exact medical reasons need not be given.
REQUIRED FOR PART 2 JOC - PRICING OF Regular Hours Coefficient What is your regular hours coefficient for the RS Means Price Book? (FAILURE TO RESPOND PROHIBITS PART 2 JOC EVALUATION) Remember that this is a ceiling price proposed. You can discount lower than your proposed contract coefficient, but not higher. This is one of three pricing questions that are required for consideration for award on this solicitation. Please consider your answer carefully. An explanation of the TIPS scoring of pricing is included in the attachments for your information. The below is an Example of how pricing model works (not intended to influence your proposed coefficient, you should propose a coefficient that you determine is right for your business): To propose the exact pricing as the RS Means Unit Price Book, you would insert a 1.0 and to propose a 5% discount for the RS Means Price Book would be a .95 regular hours coefficient and so on.
Short Term Leave Members who are LTD trustees and Union stewards or designates may apply in writing to the Employer for short term leaves of absence for; attendance at union conventions, union courses, and union committees. The employee will give reasonable notice, which will be at least seven (7) days. The Employer will make every reasonable effort to accommodate such leave, and shall grant it subject to the ability to maintain the operational needs of the department. With the exception of members of the Union's executive, the employer is not required to grant more than twenty (20) days LOA per calendar year under this provision.
Extended Absences In the event Tenant will be away from the Premises for more than 7 consecutive days, Tenant agrees to notify Landlord in writing of such absence. During such absence, Landlord may enter the premises at times reasonable necessary to maintain the property and inspect for damages and needed repairs.
Registration Requirements Prior to execution of this Agreement, the PROVIDER will be registered electronically with the State of Florida at XxXxxxxxxXxxxxxXxxxx.xxx. If the parties agree that exigent circumstances exist that would prevent such registration from taking place prior to execution of this Agreement, then the PROVIDER will so register within 21 days from execution. Failure of the PROVIDER to register electronically with the state of Florida will result in non-payment for expenditures by the Department of Financial Services until the PROVIDER has complied. The Provider will comply with the applicable requirements regarding registration with the System for Award Management (XXX) (or with a successor government-wide system officially designated by the Federal Office of Management and Budget and the DOJ’s Office of Justice Programs), and to acquire and provide a Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number. The Provider will comply with applicable restrictions on subcontractors that do not acquire and provide a DUNS number. The details of Provider obligations are posted on the Office of Justice Programs’ website at xxxxx://xxx.xxx.xxx/funding (Award condition: Registration with the System for Award Management and Universal Identifier Requirements) and are incorporated by reference. This special condition does not apply to the Provider who is an individual and received the grant award as a natural person (i.e., unrelated to any business or non-profit organization that he or she may own or operate in his or her name).
Excessive absenteeism The parties recognize that every employee has a duty to be reliably present at work, and that failure to confine sick leave usage to accrued and available sick leave raises the possibility of discipline for excessive absenteeism. Such cases, however, are subject to just cause review and require systematic examination of relevant factors, including but not limited to:
Short Term Leaves Short Term Leaves are designed to allow Teachers who have to apply for short term personal leaves of absence not otherwise covered by this Collective Agreement.
Other Absences An employee who is absent from work for any reason, other than those reasons listed above, will not be entitled either to have his/her vacation scheduled or to receive a vacation allowance during the period of such absence.
Short Term Layoff In the event of short term layoffs (a layoff of less than thirteen (13) weeks) the Employer will determine the shift(s) and classification(s) in which the layoffs will occur. The parties can agree to alternative methods of reduction of hours if time permits.
