FIRE AND SAFETY LAWS. All federal, state and city regulations pertaining to fire and safety must be adhered to. No open flames, lit candles or burning of incense will be allowed inside of tent. Outside grilling areas must be contained in the designated space to insure public safety. All electrical cords must be grounded and be UL approved. All Participants must comply with the City of Los Angeles Fire Department regulation including having at least one (1) Class K (kitchen) rated fire extinguisher in each booth throughout the duration of the festival. A copy of the Los Angeles Fire Department regulations will be distributed at the vendor meeting.
FIRE AND SAFETY LAWS. Federal, State and City Laws must be strictly observed. All decorations must be flameproof. Exhibitors must comply with fire department's and underwriters rules. Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes and other such devices in the exhibit hall is forbidden. Aisles and fire exits cannot be blocked by exhibits. Storage of flammable materials in the Exhibitor's booth or within the event facility is strictly forbidden.
FIRE AND SAFETY LAWS. No combustible materials, such as crepe, tissue, cardboard or corrugated paper shall be used at any time. “Fireproofed” paper is not considered non- combustible as interpreted by fire inspector, and is not permitted to be used. All muslin, velvet, silken or other cloth decorations must pass a flameproof test as prescribed by applicable fire ordinances. All inflammable materials must be kept in safety containers. Exhibitor shall comply, at Exhibitor’s sole cost and expense, with all applicable national, state, city, municipal and other governmental regulations including but not limited to fire and safety laws and with the applicable rules and regulations of the facility in which the trade show is held.

  • Health and Safety Requirements The Contractor and his subcontractors ensure at all times compliance with safety regulations imposed by any Act of Parliament, ordinance or any regulation or by¬law of any local or statutory authority. Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act of 1993-Section 37) The Contractor shall comply with:  The Occupational Health and Safety Xxx, 0000, and all Regulations made there under;  All Eskom Safety and Operating Procedures listed in this Works Information. Eskom may, at any stage during the currency of this agreement, be entitled to:  Do safety audits at the Contractor’s premises, its work-places and on its employees;  Refuse any employee, sub-contractor or agent of the Contractor access to its premises if such person has been found to commit any unlawful act or any unsafe working practice or is found to be not authorised or qualified in terms of the Act;

  • Health and Safety Standards Contractor shall abide by all health and safety standards set forth by the State of California and/or the County of Xxxxxx pursuant to the Injury and Illness Prevention Program. If applicable, Contractor must receive all health and safety information and training from County.

  • Health and Safety Plan 5. Xxxxxx shall prepare and submit under separate cover from the Work Plan, a Health and Safety Plan consistent with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations. The Health and Safety Plan shall be submitted to the Department in the form of one electronic copy on compact disk (in .pdf format). Xxxxxx agrees that the Health and Safety Plan is submitted to the Department only for informational purposes. The Department expressly disclaims any liability that may result from implementation of the Health and Safety Plan by Xxxxxx. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

  • Health and Safety Grievances A. It is the policy of the State employer to enforce safety and health, policies, procedures, and work practices and protect employees from harm in connection with State operations.

  • WORKPLACE HEALTH AND SAFETY The parties to this Agreement are committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace and work practices. The parties recognise that illness or injury at the workplace is costly to the employer and the employees and also disruptive to the respective parties. To facilitate healthy and safe work practices, the parties to the Agreement are committed to discussing health and safety issues as they apply to the operations of the employer as part of the consultative measures under this Agreement. The employer and employees under this agreement may refer to their respective industrial representatives for appropriate advice or expertise in enhancing performance with due regard to health and safety initiatives. The parties also recognise the importance of conducting regular audits of the employer's operations, policies and procedures including the employees' skills, knowledge, qualifications and application of healthy and safe work practices.
