Fire Staff Premium a. Each 24 hour shift unit member assigned to a day assignment position for at least thirty (30) consecutive days shall receive a Fire Staff Premium equal to fifteen percent (15%) of their base monthly compensation; they will be entitled to work call-backs on regularly scheduled days off and partial call-backs (i.e., after 5:00 p.m. and before 8:00 a.m.) unless a need arises to change this practice, as determined by the Chief. The change may only occur after consultation with the Unit Representative. In addition, they will receive overtime pay calculated on base monthly compensation pay plus the Fire Staff Premium if hours worked are related to the day assignment, but not if related to a shift assignment (e.g., a call-back). The hourly rate of pay for day assignments will be adjusted based upon the 2080 hour work year. All overtime worked for day assignments will be compensated at the adjusted rate. Call back for suppression shifts while assigned to days shall be compensated at the suppression hourly rate of pay, which is based upon a 2920-hour work year.

Fire Staff Premium. 1. A Fire Battalion Chief who is routinely and consistently assigned to perform administrative work on a non-shift work schedule will receive a Fire Staff Premium in the amount of 10% of base pay.
Fire Staff Premium. 10%; The Fire Staff Premium of 10% may, with management approval, apply to IAFF Local 1270 members who are routinely and consistently assigned to administrative work during normal hours of employment that differ from the work schedule of fire suppression personnel; the Fire Staff Premium is limited to members assigned to a 40-hour workweek. An example of a qualifying assignment is the Fire Recruit Academy Coordinator.

  • ONA Staff Leave For an employee with at least two (2) years full-time or equivalent service (e.g. 3,000 hours of part-time RN service), upon application in writing by the Union to the Employer, an unpaid leave of absence may be granted to such employee selected for a secondment or a temporary staff position with the Ontario Nurses' Association. Such leave shall not be unreasonably denied or extended beyond twelve (12) months. Notwithstanding Article 11.10, there shall be no loss of service or seniority for an employee during such leave of absence. It is understood that during such leave the employee shall be deemed to be an employee of the Ontario Nurses' Association. The employee agrees to notify the Employer of her or his intention to return to work at least ten (10) weeks prior to the date of such return. The employee shall be reinstated to her or his former position, unless that position has been discontinued, in which case the employee shall be given a comparable job. During such leaves of absence all salary, statutory benefits, pension, vacation and benefits will be kept whole by the Employer and the Union agrees to reimburse the Employer for such salary and Employer contributions to benefits unless the Union decides to take sole responsibility for these employee obligations.

  • Staff Nurse A registered nurse who is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of the patient.

  • Emergency Childcare Employees may use vacation leave for childcare emergencies after the employee has exhausted all of their accrued compensatory time. Use of vacation leave and sick leave for emergency childcare is limited to a combined maximum of four (4) days per calendar year.

  • Training Premium Qualified Operators selected by the Employer to train new Operators shall be paid a training premium of 40¢ per hour while engaged in training work.

  • Payment of Premium Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Parties, the Buyer shall be obligated to pay the Premium related to an Option no later than its Premium Payment Date.

  • CLEC Provided Splitter – Line Sharing 3.4.1 Freedom may at its option purchase, install and maintain central office POTS splitters in its collocation arrangements. Freedom may use such splitters for access to its customers and to provide digital line subscriber services to its customers using the High Frequency Spectrum. Existing Collocation rules and procedures and the terms and conditions relating to Collocation set forth in Attachment 4- Central Office shall apply.
