Firearms and Equipment. Both Witness and Involved Officers shall make themselves available for a firearms inspection. If investigators request, an officer shall surrender their firearm and any other requested equipment. An officer who surrenders their firearm or equipment and who requests a replacement for items surrendered, shall be provided by the Department with a replacement firearm and/or equipment as soon as reasonably possible. Unless a supervisor has a reason to believe that the officer poses a threat to themself or to others, or unless directed by the ranking investigator, firearms should not be taken from officers at the scene of the Critical Incident.

Firearms and Equipment. The Department will provide a one-time cash payment of $1,500 to each Unit member in pay period 1 of fiscal year 2019-20.   • UNIFORMS AND EQUIPMENT Section 1. The City shall provide and replace sufficient uniforms for uniformed employees where uniforms are required.

In no event shall City be obligated to furnish any facility that may involve incurring any direct expense, including but not limited to computer, long-distance telephone or other communication charges, vehicles, and reproduction facilities.
