Flexible Benefits. ‌ Individuals are able to designate an amount of pre-tax compensation to a flexible spending account. The amount, which will be limited by IRS guidelines, may be used for IRS approved dependent care expenses and non-reimbursed medical, dental and vision care expenses. Monies designated to these accounts, but not used during the year, cannot be returned to the individual.
