FMLA Entitlement. The employer will provide leave to eligible employees consistent with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). The twelve (12) weeks provided for under the FMLA shall be inclusive of sick leave. In complying with the FMLA, the employer will adhere to the requirements of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, applicable federal and state laws and regulations. The BOARD reserves the right to use a third- party vendor to manage its FMLA obligations and the use of FMLA leave by Professional Staff Members.

FMLA Entitlement. The parties to this contract agree to abide by all terms/conditions of the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 (FMLA). The twelve (12) weeks provided for under the FMLA shall be inclusive of any sick leave utilized. For the purposes of this law, a ‘year’ shall be calculated on an individual and rolling basis. In complying with the FMLA, the employer will adhere to the requirements of the collective bargaining agreement, applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
FMLA Entitlement. Paid and unpaid leave pursuant to the FMLA will be counted against the employee’s FMLA entitlement.

  • Basic entitlement (a) After twelve months continuous service, parents are entitled to a combined total of 52 weeks unpaid parental leave on a shared basis in relation to the birth or adoption of their child. For females, maternity leave may be taken and for males, paternity leave may be taken. Adoption leave may be taken in the case of adoption.
