The FMLA Entitlement clause defines an employee's right to take unpaid, job-protected leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act for specified family and medical reasons. Typically, this clause outlines the eligibility criteria, such as minimum length of employment and hours worked, and details the maximum duration of leave—usually up to 12 weeks within a 12-month period.
