Follow-up Counseling for People with a Cost Share or Premium. When an individual’s enrollment is pending because eligibility for Medicaid requires a cost share or premium, the ADRC shall inform the applicant of the amount, as determined by income maintenance, determine whether the person still chooses to enroll in the publicly funded long-term care program. If so, communicate the decision to the income maintenance consortia along with the enrollment date, following the Department-established process.

If so, communicate the decision to the income maintenance consortia along with the enrollment date when necessary to begin Community Waiver Medicaid.
