Food and Beverage Sampling. Exhibitors distributing sample food products or beverages must obtain a permit from the Monterey County Health Department. Please visit the Monterey County Health Department website to download the appropriate form. Sampling is defined as offering, at no cost, sample portions of food or drink to the athletes, spectators, and other event attendees. Sample portions of drinks are not to be handed out in the original containers and are to be no more than 6 oz.
Food and Beverage Sampling. Exhibitors may distribute sample food and/or beverages ONLY with preauthorization. Free samples are limited to 3oz of liquid (non-alcoholic) and a 1-ounce food portion. All exhibitors offering food and beverage samples must notify The International Tai Chi Chuan Symposium, LLC at least 1 week in advance of the Symposium. Items must be in commercial packaging. Exhibitor must provide a copy of their liability insurance to the Symposium at registration. Exhibitors not in compliance will be asked to remove the item(s) immediately. The Symposium reserves the right to evict Exhibitors not in compliance. If the Exhibitor is evicted from the Symposium, no payment will be refunded.

Food and Beverage Sampling. Food and beverage sampling is discouraged. You must have received prior approval from New York State Fair Management to distribute food samples at your location. Decisions are made during the application and approval process and are reflected in your Exhibit License Agreement. All food and beverage safety guidelines in this book must be followed as well as those by any governing agency.
