For Disciplinary Grievances only. The Association dissatisfied with the Sheriff's response at Step 2 may appeal to the Administrative Appeals Board, as provided in the Sheriff’s Department Policy, Article X. A copy of the Sheriff’s Department Policy, Article X is attached hereto as Appendix A. A copy of both the grievant’s appeal and the final written decision of the Administrative Appeals Board shall be forwarded to ERD. Disciplinary grievances may be appealed only through the Administrative Appeals Board and may not be submitted to arbitration under this Article.
