Form and Content of Mutual Assistance Requests. 1. Requests for mutual assistance under this Section shall be addressed directly from the requesting authority to the requested authority, in writing or by electronic means, attaching the necessary documents. The requesting authority shall execute electronic requests in writing. As long as the written formality has not been received, the requested authority may suspend the processing of the request. 2. The Parties shall exchange the name and address of the administrative office competent to coordinate mutual assistance requests and responses. 3. In cases of urgency, requests may also be made orally, and must be confirmed in writing within a period not exceeding 3 working days from the day following the date of receipt of the oral request. Otherwise, the execution of such requests may be suspended. 4. Requests made pursuant to this Article shall include, at a minimum, the following: (a) from the requesting authority, the name, signature and position of the official making the request; (b) from the requested authority, the name and title of the official to whom the request is addressed; (c) the purpose of and the reason for the request; (d) a brief description of the facts that are the subject of the investigation, as well as the investigations already carried out, if applicable; (e) the grounds and reasons for the customs procedure in question; (f) the names, addresses, identification documents or any other information known and relevant of the persons related to the facts in the subject matter of the application; and (g) all necessary information available to identify the goods, means of transport or the customs declaration related to the application.

Form and Content of Mutual Assistance Requests. 1. Requests for mutual assistance under this Chapter shall be addressed in writing to the requested authority by the applicant authority, in physical form or by electronic means, attaching applicable documents. The requested authority may request confirmation of requests in physical form when they are made by electronic means. 2. In cases of urgency a request may be made orally. Such a request shall be confirmed in writing, in physical form or by electronic means as soon as possible. 3. Requests made pursuant to paragraph 1 shall include the following details: (a) the name, signature and position of the official making the request; (b) the information requested and the reason for the request; (c) a brief description of the subject matter including a summary of the relevant facts and of the investigations already carried out, if applicable, as well as the legal elements and the nature of the customs procedure; (d) the names, addresses, identification document or any other known relevant information of the persons to whom the application relates; and (e) the necessary information available to identify the goods or the customs declaration related to the application. 4. The information referred to in this Chapter shall be communicated to the officials specially designated for this purpose by each competent authority. To this end, each Party shall keep the competent authority of the other Party informed of the updated list of designated officials. 5. If a request does not meet the formal requirements set forth above, the requested authority may request that it be corrected or completed; in the meantime, appropriate surveillance measures may be taken in accordance with the legislation of the relevant Party.

  • Directory Assistance 72.1 The Parties acknowledge that CenturyLink is not a Directory Assistance (DA) provider. CenturyLink provides directory listings information for its subscribers to third party DA providers to be included in the national and local databases used by such third party providers. The Parties agree that to the extent the DA provider contracted by CLEC for DA services to CLEC’s subscribers also populates the national DA database, then CLEC’s DA listings have been made available to CenturyLink’s subscribers and no further effort is needed by either Party. If for any reason, CLEC desires that CenturyLink act as a middleman conduit for the placement of CLEC’s DA listings in the DA database(s), then CenturyLink shall provide such compensable DA listings service pursuant to separate written terms and conditions between CenturyLink and CLEC which will be attached to this Agreement as an Amendment.

  • Legal Assistance The Board shall give full support including legal and other assistance for any assault upon the employee while properly acting in the discharge of his/her duties.

  • Audit Assistance Each of the Parties and their respective Subsidiaries are or may be subject to regulation and audit by a Governmental Authority (including a Taxing Authority), standards organizations, customers or other parties to contracts with such Parties or their respective Subsidiaries under applicable Law, standards or contract provisions. If a Governmental Authority, standards organization, customer or other party to a contract with a Party or its Subsidiary exercises its right to examine or audit such Party’s or its Subsidiary’s books, records, documents or accounting practices and procedures pursuant to such applicable Law, standards or contract provisions, and such examination or audit relates to the Services, then the other Party shall provide, at the sole cost and expense of the requesting Party, all assistance reasonably requested by the Party that is subject to the examination or audit in responding to such examination or audits or requests for Information, to the extent that such assistance or Information is within the reasonable control of the cooperating Party and is related to the Services.
