Common use of Formal Level 1 Clause in Contracts

Formal Level 1. If a complaint is not resolved in a conference between the affected bargaining unit member(s) and his/her immediate supervisor, the complaint may be appealed in writing within ten (10) working days of the meeting between the supervisor and the affected bargaining unit member(s). A copy of the grievance shall be sent to the Association and the immediate supervisor. The immediate supervisor shall, within ten (10) working days of receipt of the grievance, render a written decision. A copy of this decision shall be forwarded to the grievant(s) and the Association.
