Full-Time Faculty Member Promotion Guidelines. The College will budget annually sufficient monies to fund promotions for ten percent (10%) of the total number of Full-Time Faculty Member positions. The number of annual promotions may not exceed the funds budgeted, except as the President decides to recommend individuals whose services to the College warrant special consideration. Candidates for promotion must meet all the minimum requirements and comply with the procedures as provided in College Policy. Final decision for promotion rests with the Board. Recommendations for promotion come to the Board from the President of the College. The Board shall not withhold promotions pending settlement of a successor agreement with the FAOCC. Full-Time Faculty Members desirous of promotion are subject to the criteria and guidelines set forth in College Policy #3118.
