Common use of Function Clause in Contracts

Function. The Committee shall concern itself with the following general matters: a. Considering constructive criticisms of all activities so that better relations shall exist between the Employer and the employees; b. Improving and extending services to the University community; c. Reviewing suggestions from employees and questions on working conditions; d. Correcting conditions causing grievances and misunderstandings.

Improving a) Consider constructive criticism in a constant endeavour to improve employer/employee relations. b) Promote safe practices. c) Review employee suggestions, working conditions and extending services situations which may create misunderstandings and grievances. d) Discuss operational problems and management plans. e) In addition to discussion by the committee where new or additional equipment is required, or where renovations are planned for an existing building, or where a new building or new office location is planned, the employees affected shall have an opportunity to present suggestions prior to the University community; c. Reviewing suggestions from employees and questions on working conditions; d. Correcting conditions causing grievances and misunderstandingsfinalization of plans.
