Common use of GENERAL UNPAID LEAVES Clause in Contracts

GENERAL UNPAID LEAVES. An unpaid leave of absence may be granted at the option of the Board to an employee who has successfully completed a probationary period. Each case will be looked at individually and final determination will rest with the Board as to whether or not a general unpaid leave of absence may be granted. In no case will an unpaid leave of absence extend beyond a twelve (12) month period from date of leave (ART. XII, C,3).
