GENERAL UNPAID LEAVES. Special leaves of absence without pay for up to one (1) year may be approved and granted at the discretion of the Board. Any such leaves granted shall be of no precedential force or effect. Leaves of more than one (1) year may be granted at the discretion of the Board. Such leaves will not unreasonably be denied. Upon return from the leave, the employee shall be granted a position for which he/she is qualified.
