Graduate Assistant ("GA"). A GA is a Graduate Teaching Assistant ("GTA"), Graduate Research Assistant ("GRA"), or Graduate Administrative Assistant ("GAA'') employed by the University. The University recognizes a special relationship with Graduate Assistants, who are both employees and students at the University. The goal of any assistantship is to provide a service to the University and to aid the student in the successful completion of their graduate degree by providing employment related to their academic program and professional goals. GAs will not include: 5.1.1. a - Individuals who qualify as supervisory employees under ORS 243.650(23); 5.1.1. b - Individuals who are the recipients of State or Federal training grants; 5.1.1. c - Graders who do not have direct classroom and/or laboratory instructional responsibilities and/or personal contact in pre-scheduled and posted office hours;

  • Coronavirus Relief Fund – Rental Assistance Application The Coronavirus Relief Fund – Rental Assistance Application should contain all the necessary information to determine whether a Household is potentially eligible for CRF assistance. In accordance with the provisions of Sections 760.20-760.37, Fla. Stat., it is unlawful to discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, familial status, national origin, or handicap in the award application process for Eligible Housing. 1. At a minimum, an application for program assistance should contain the following items for each household member: a. The number of people residing in the household including name, age, relationship to head of household, current address and home phone number; b. Name and address of employer(s), work phone number(s), and position title with employer; c. Sources of income and a statement signed by all of the adults who reside in the household consenting to the disclosure of information for the purpose of verifying income for determining eligibility for program assistance; d. A signed statement indicating that the applicant understands that all information provided is subject to Florida’s public records laws; and e. A statement that it is a first-degree misdemeanor to falsify information for the purpose of obtaining assistance.

  • Distant Work An employee sent from his or her usual locality to another (in circumstances other than those prescribed in 5.9.4(a) hereof) and required to remain away from his or her usual place of abode will be paid travelling time whilst necessarily travelling between such localities, and expenses whilst so absent from his or her usual locality.

  • Secretary and Assistant Secretaries The secretary shall record all proceedings of the shareholders and the Trustees in books to be kept therefor, which books shall be kept at the principal office of the Trust. In the absence of the secretary from any meeting of shareholders or Trustees, an assistant secretary, or if there be none or he or she is absent, a temporary clerk chosen at the meeting shall record the proceedings thereof in the aforesaid books.

  • Assistance by COUNTY STAFF 1.3.1. County shall assign an appropriate staff member to work with A-E in connection with the work of this Contract. Said staff member's duties will consist of the giving of advice and consultations, assisting A-E in negotiations with other public agencies and private parties, miscellaneous items which in the judgment of A-E or County's staff warrant attention, and all other duties as may be described in Attachment A. 1.3.2.   • Vendor Certification of Criminal History Texas Education Code Chapter 22 8 Texas Education Code Chapter 22 requires entities that contract with school districts to provide services to obtain DEFINITIONS Covered employees: Employees of a contractor or subcontractor who have or will have continuing duties related to the service to be performed at the District and have or will have direct contact with students. The District will be the final arbiter of what constitutes direct contact with students. Disqualifying criminal history: Any conviction or other criminal history information designated by the District, or one of the following offenses, if at the time of the offense, the victim was under 18 or enrolled in a public school: (a) a felony offense under Title 5, Texas Penal Code; (b) an offense for which a defendant is required to register as a sex offender under Chapter 62, Texas Code of Criminal Procedure; or (c) an equivalent offense under federal law or the laws of another state. Vendor certifies: NONE (Section A): None of the employees of Vendor and any subcontractors are covered employees, as defined above. If this box is checked, I further certify that Contractor has taken precautions or imposed conditions to ensure that the employees of Vendor and any subcontractor will not become covered employees. Contractor will maintain these precautions or conditions throughout the time the contracted services are provided under this procurement. SOME (Section B): Some or all of the employees of Vendor and any subcontractor are covered employees. If this box is checked, I further certify that: (1) Vendor has obtained all required criminal history record information regarding its covered employees. None of the covered employees has a disqualifying criminal history; (2) If Vendor receives information that a covered employee subsequently has a reported criminal history, Vendor will immediately remove the covered employee from contract duties and notify the purchasing entity in writing within 3 business days; (3) Upon request, Vendor will provide the purchasing entity with the name and any other requested information of covered employees so that the purchasing entity may obtain criminal history record information on the covered employees; (4) If the purchasing entity objects to the assignment of a covered employee on the basis of the covered employee's criminal history record information, Xxxxxx agrees to discontinue using that covered employee to provide services at the purchasing entity.   • Treasurer; Assistant Treasurer The Treasurer shall be the chief financial and accounting officer of the Trust, and shall, subject to the provisions of the Declaration of Trust and to any arrangement made by the Trustees with a custodian, investment adviser, sub-adviser or manager, or transfer, shareholder servicing or similar agent, be in charge of the valuable papers, books of account and accounting records of the Trust, and shall have such other duties and powers as may be designated from time to time by the Trustees or by the President. Any Assistant Treasurer shall have such duties and powers as may be designated from time to time by the Trustees or the President.
