Grave Illness or Death - Immediate Family. An employee shall be permitted to take up to a total of five (5) days comprised of five (5) days with pay in instances where there is a grave illness or death of any of the following family members: spouse, common-law spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, son, daughter, grandparents, grandchildren, mother-in- law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, or guardian.
