GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE Section I – Definition. A. A grievance shall be defined as any dispute regarding the meaning, interpretation, application or alleged violation of the terms and provisions of this Agreement. B. A grievance may be filed by the affected employee or group of affected employees. The Association may also file a policy grievance if the alleged violation of this Agreement affects an entire department or the entire bargaining unit. A policy grievance shall be filed at Step 3 within five (5) days after the occurrence of the alleged violation.
