GROUP INSURANCE AND DISTRICT SELF-FUNDED PLANS. GENERAL The terms, conditions and provisions of all current group insurance policies issued by insurance companies to the District, or hereafter negotiated between the parties, and of all self-funded employee benefits plans, exclusive of the Money Purchase Pension Plan and Deferred Compensation Plan, under which individual employees are to receive benefits, are incorporated by reference herein and shall be controlling, in all matters pertaining, to benefits hereunder. The District agrees that it will not change, or seek to change, the benefits under the group insurance policies, or under the self-funded benefit plans or fail to provide reasonable and customary claims services under which individual employees are to receive benefits, without mutual agreement of the parties to this Agreement. The District agrees that it will promptly notify the Association of any changes to group insurance policies or self-funded benefit plans which may be mandated by law or required by insurers, or adopted by the District. Married employees and employees in an eligible domestic Partnership who both work for the District shall receive full coverage under group insurance policies and self-funded benefit plans. They shall each receive their allotted employee and dependent coverage. In no event will these employees or their dependents be entitled to such combined coverage in excess of their actual expenses.
