Group Leader. Responsibilities i) Directing and instructing the group (i.e. three or more employees), ii) Assigning work to the group, iii) The quality and quantity of the group, iv) Planning the work and arranging for tools, drawing, etc., for the next job, v) Reporting production holdups that the Group Leader is unable to resolve, vi) Recommending improvements in production, quality and cost and introducing such improvements to the extent feasible, vii) Good housekeeping and safety, and viii) Supervision of the group in the absence of the supervisor or on shifts not otherwise supervised.
