Common use of GROUP RETIREMENT SAVINGS PLAN Clause in Contracts

GROUP RETIREMENT SAVINGS PLAN. 15.02.1 The Board shall make a contribution of $3500 to the Group Retirement Savings Plan on behalf of each Teacher hired effective or after September 1, 1998. The Teacher shall receive the contribution after two continuous school years of employment. The calculation of service is to commence from September 30, or February 28, of the semester of hire. No current or past Teacher shall be eligible to receive this amount from the Board more than once. 15.02.2 The Bargaining Unit shall determine the carrier and plan design for the Group Retirement Savings Plan.
