Bargaining Unit Leave. A leave of absence shall be given for up to sixty (60) days for Branch/Executive Federation business as approved by the Bargaining Unit Executive. The cost of a supply teacher, if necessary, is to be charged to District 10, OSSTF.

Bargaining Unit Leave. Similarly, subject to advance notice and supervisory approval, an employee may assume an interim position outside of the bargaining unit but within the Swedish Medical Center. An employee that assumes an interim position with the Employer outside of the bargaining unit may do so for up to twelve (12) months in length. Employees returning from this leave within twelve (12) weeks will be guaranteed their same positions. Employees returning from this leave after twelve (12) weeks will be eligible for the next open position, for which they are qualified, based on seniority.
Bargaining Unit Leave. The President of the Bargaining Unit, or designate, shall be entitled to thirty (30) days per school year to attend to union business. Such days shall be without loss of pay, seniority or benefits. The President of the Bargaining Unit, or designate, shall notify the Manager of Employee Relations & Staffing (Admin. & Support Staff) and the employee’s immediate supervisor at least two (2) days in advance of such leave being taken.
Bargaining Unit Leave. (a) The Centre shall pay the Bargaining Unit President 7.5 hours salary each month. This salary is in lieu of all time spent attending meetings with the Centre including all committees mandated by the Collective Agreement and time spent preparing for these committee meetings and for investigating and/or processing grievances. In addition, the Bargaining Unit President may request up to an additional 15 hours leave of absence per month paid by the Centre to attend to local union issues. Such requests will not be unreasonably denied. It is understood that the above leave is separate from all other Union Business leaves as per Article 11 of the Collective Agreement.

Additionally, the Bargaining Unit must reimburse the cost of all statutory deductions and benefit costs, including, but not necessarily limited to EI, CPP, EHT, WSIB, VACATION PAY, OMERS and ELHT. During such leaves, all absences related to entitlements in the Collective Agreement, i.e. sick leave, personal days etc., must be entered into the Board’s automated calling system. Additional days of Bargaining Unit leave may be granted for up to five (5) members of the WRDECE Local union executive to attend Executive meetings to an aggregate maximum of eighty (80) days not inclusive of days for the purpose of collective agreement bargaining. The Bargaining Unit shall reimburse the Board the cost of salaries and benefits of the Executive Officer, Officers, and Collective Bargaining Committee days including, but not necessarily limited to EI, CPP, EHT, WSIB, VACATION PAY, OMERS and ELHT. The WRDECE shall not be billed for the release that does not occur.

  • Bargaining Unit The term "bargaining unit" as used in this Agreement refers to the bargaining unit defined in Article 1, Recognition.

  • Bargaining Unit Roster Upon the signing of this Agreement and monthly thereafter, the Employer shall supply to the Union via a secured method an alphabetical list of all employees covered by this Agreement. The list shall include the name, address, employee identification number, date of hire, rehire date (if applicable), shift, FTE, job classification, department cost center number, unit, hourly rate of pay and monthly gross earnings. Each month, the Employer will provide a list of new hires and addresses, and a list of all employees who have terminated during the month via a secured method. The new hire and termination lists shall include the same data as the monthly employee roster except for monthly gross earnings. The termination list shall include the termination date. Within ninety (90) days of ratification, Swedish Medical Center and SEIU 1199NW will convene a work group including HRIS expert to explore a method for the Employer to provide a list of all employment changes for bargaining unit employees, via a secure site.

  • Bargaining Unit Work 255. The City agrees that it will not assign work currently performed by employees under this Agreement to City employees in other bargaining units.

  • Non-Bargaining Unit Employees Employees outside the bargaining unit will not perform work that is normally done by employees in the bargaining unit.
