Common use of Hazardous Duty Pay Clause in Contracts

Hazardous Duty Pay. Subject to the provisions set forth below, Sergeants in this unit will be eligible to receive up to a total of four (4) hazardous duty payments in the amount of $1,000 each. These payments shall not be added to base pay and shall not be included in Final Average Compensation for Retirement purposes. Payments shall be made between December 1st and 15th, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 respectively, to employees who are actively on the payroll at the time of payment. This Section 4 shall be null and void and of no force and effect following the fourth and final payment provided above.

These payments shall not be added to base pay and shall not be included in Final Average Compensation for Retirement purposes. Payments shall be made between December 1st and 15th, 2021of 2013, 20222014 and 2015, 2023, and 2024 respectively, to employees who are actively on the payroll at the time of payment.
