Civil Disturbance Unit. Effective June 1, 2015, Officers assigned to the Civil Disturbance Unit (CDU) shall receive a two percent (2%) differential above the employee’s base pay rate.
Civil Disturbance Unit. Members of the CDU shall be paid at the rate of double-time with three (3) hours minimum when called to an emergency situation requiring their expertise.
Civil Disturbance Unit. The City will select and assign employees to the Civil Disturbance Unit in accordance with current practices for selecting and assigning members to specialty assignments. Members of the Civil Disturbance Unit shall be paid at a rate of double the employee’s regular hourly rate with a four-hour minimum when called to an emergency requiring their expertise. At no time will an employee receive more than double their pay. This shall remain in effect so long as the City has a Civil Disturbance Unit.
