Higher Duties Allowance 10.3.1 A higher duties allowance shall be paid to an employee who, at the request of the employer is substantially performing the duties and carrying the responsibilities of a position or grade higher than the employee’s own.
Higher Duties 27.1 Where an Employee on any one day performs two or more classes of work to which different rates of pay are applicable, the Employer shall pay to the Employee the higher hourly rate for the entire day if the Employee is required to work in that class of work for more than 2 hours, and if for less than 2 hours during any one day the Employee will be paid the higher rate for the time so worked.

General Duties and Responsibilities 1. Responsibilities under the General Conditions of the Contract for Construction: In addition to the responsibilities herein set forth, Consulting Engineer/Architect agrees to be responsible for those matters identified in the General Conditions as being responsibilities of the Consulting Engineer/Architect.
