Grandparented Provisions. There are a range of grandparented provisions from previous applicable Collective Agreements that remain in place for employees that were previously covered by those provisions. These grandparented provisions are detailed in Appendix 1 of the Collective Agreement.

Grandparented Provisions. Grand-parented provisions are entitlements that remain in place for employees that were covered by the applicable collective agreement at the time the provisions were grand- parented. Grandparented provisions do not apply to new employees from the date of grandparenting of the provision. The following are provisions grandparented at the date of ratification of the PAKS Collective Agreement.

Grandparented 2017/18 pay ranges for PSA member employees employed prior to 29 November 201820 November 2020 1.1 Existing employees in the following positions as at 209 November 201820 will have their 2017/18 pay range grandparented. The grandparented pay range will be individual to the employee while they remain in the position.   • Children/Grandchildren An employee may purchase life insurance in the amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) as a package for all eligible children/grandchildren (as defined in Section 2A2 and 2A3 of this Article). For a new employee, child/grandchild coverage requires evidence of insurability if application is made after the initial effective date of coverage as defined in this Article, Section 5C. An employee who becomes eligible for insurance may purchase child/grandchild coverage without evidence of insurability if application is made within thirty (30) days of the initial effective date as defined in this Article. Child/grandchild coverage commences fourteen (14) calendar days after birth.

  • Birth Father and Adoptive Parent An employee who is the birth father, the adoptive father or the adoptive mother shall be entitled to up to thirty-seven (37) consecutive weeks of parental leave without pay. The employee shall take the leave within fifty-two (52) weeks of the child's birth or date the child comes within the care and custody of the employee.

  • Spouse The spouse of an eligible employee (if legally married under Minnesota law). For the purposes of health insurance coverage, if that spouse works full-time for an organization employing more than one hundred (100) people and elects to receive either credits or cash (1) in place of health insurance or health coverage or (2) in addition to a health plan with a seven hundred and fifty dollar ($750) or greater deductible through his/her employing organization, he/she is not eligible to be a covered dependent for the purposes of this Article. If both spouses work for the State or another organization participating in the State's Group Insurance Program, neither spouse may be covered as a dependent by the other, unless one spouse is not eligible for a full Employer Contribution as defined in Section 3A. Effective January 1, 2015 if both spouses work for the State or another organization participating in the State’s Group Insurance Program, a spouse may be covered as a dependent by the other.

  • Immediate Family Defined Immediate family will be defined as father, mother, husband, wife, son, daughter, brother, sister, grandfather, grandmother, father-in-law, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, step children, step-parent, and any person domiciled and residing in the teacher’s home as a member of the teacher’s home as a member of the teacher’s family, and any person with whom the teacher lived for a substantial period as a child as if such person were the teacher’s parents.

  • Child A biological, adopted, or xxxxxx child, stepchild, legal xxxx, conservatee or a child who is under eighteen (18) years of age for whom an employee stands in loco parentis or for whom the employee is the guardian or conservator, or an adult dependent child of the employee.

  • CRIMES AGAINST CHILDREN In accordance with RCW 28A.400.330, employees, agents, and contractors of the NWESD and District are prohibited from working at a public school if they have or may have contact with children at a public school during the course of their employment and have pleaded guilty to or been convicted of the crimes identified in RCW 28A.400.322. Any failure to comply with this section shall be grounds for the District immediately terminating the contract.

  • Birth Mother A pregnant employee shall be entitled to up to seventeen (17) consecutive weeks of maternity leave and up to thirty-five (35) consecutive weeks of parental leave, all without pay. The parental leave must immediately follow the maternity leave. In the event the birth mother dies or is totally disabled, an employee who is the father of the child shall be entitled to both maternity and parental leave without pay.

  • BINDING EFFECT; SUCCESSORS & XXXXXXX This Contract shall be binding upon and shall inure to the benefit of the parties hereto and their respective successors and assigns.
