Common use of Hire in Rates versus Incumbents Clause in Contracts

Hire in Rates versus Incumbents. If at any time a current employee believes that they have the same or greater experience to that of a newly hired employee in the same job classification, and the new employee is brought into their job at the same or higher rate of pay, the current employee may request a review by their manager. The manager will assist the employee by bringing the matter to Human Resources for review.
