Common use of Hiring Rates Clause in Contracts

Hiring Rates. (a) All new employees hired by the Company shall be hired at a trainee rate. Such rate shall be three-quarters (¾) of the normal starting rate for a maximum total training period of six (6) weeks. Upon successful completion of the training period, the employee shall move to the rate for the position. (b) New hires will receive the benefits set out in Articles 15, 21, and 26 thirty (30) days from their date of hire.
