Historic Preservation Commission. The Project Schematic Drawings shall show (i) all the exterior faces of the Redeveloper Improvements from the adjoining sidewalk or ground surface to the highest point of the capping of the flat roof, (ii) the construction materials to be used for the exterior walls and windows, and (iii) the elevation views of the exterior faces of the Redeveloper Improvements in relation to the adjoining sidewalk or ground surface. The Project Schematic Drawings of the Redeveloper Improvements will be submitted to the Historic Preservation Commission, in accordance with the submittal requirements in Chapter 27.57 of the Lincoln Municipal Code, for its review and submittal of its recommendation to the City no later than thirty (30) days following Redeveloper’s submittal of the Project Schematic Drawings. The Project Schematic Drawings attached hereto are hereby deemed approved by the City upon the Historic Preservation Committee’s issuance of a Certificate of Appropriateness.

Historic Preservation Commission. There is hereby established a City Historic Preservation Commission, consisting of seven (7) members who shall be appointed by the Mayor subject to the approval of the Council. No more than three (3) members of the Commission shall be nonresidents of the City. Four (4) members of the Commission shall constitute a quorum, however no quorum shall consist of a majority of nonresidents of the City. Members of the Commission shall be appointed for four (4) years on a staggered basis and shall hold office at the discretion of the Council until their successors have been appointed even if their designated term has expired. Vacancies shall be filled by appointment for the unexpired portion of the designated term. The designated terms of all members of the Commission shall expire at the second regular Council meeting of May. (§ 2, Ord. 893, eff. April 11, 2019)
