HMIS Policies and Procedures. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, Agency’s use of and participation in the HMIS, and the use, disclosure, and submission of data to and from the HMIS shall, at all times, be governed by the Privacy Policy and the HMIS Policies, as may be revised from time to time. The Privacy Policy shall control any disagreements between the referenced documents.

HMIS Policies and Procedures. 1. Review, revise (as needed) and update HMIS policy on privacy, security, and data quality for all CHOs, including an HMIS participation agreement. • Develop and submit a security plan, a data quality plan, and a privacy policy to the CoC for approval. Review each plan annually. • Support, enhance, and enforce data quality and data quality reporting. • Solicit and incorporate feedback from the HMIS Oversight Committee into all of the above-named plans.

  • Policy and Procedures If the resident leaves the facility due to hospitalization or a therapeutic leave, the facility shall not be obligated to hold the resident’s bed available until his or her return, unless prior arrangements have been made for a bed hold pursuant to the facility’s “Bed Reservation Policy and Procedure” and pursuant to applicable law. In the absence of a bed hold, the resident is not guaranteed readmission unless the resident is eligible for Medicaid and requires the services provided by the facility. However, the resident may be placed in any appropriate bed in a semi-private room in the facility at the time of his or her return from hospitalization or therapeutic leave provided a bed is available and the resident’s admission is appropriate and meets the readmission requirements of the facility.
