Common use of Holiday Benefit Clause in Contracts

Holiday Benefit. Eligible employees as described above shall be entitled to compensated time off for designated holidays. Such compensation is referred to as the “holiday benefit” and is separate from compensation an employee receives if they also work on a designated holiday. See Section 2 below. Designated holidays shall be eight (8) hours each for FULL TIME employees, regardless of shift length and are as follows:
