Holiday Falling on a Scheduled. Workday‌ An employee who works on a designated holiday, which is a scheduled workday, shall be compensated at the rate of time and one-half (1½x) for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday. Lieu days earned pursuant to this clause shall be scheduled by mutual agreement. However, where an employee works Christmas Day or New Year's Day, the rate will be double-time (2x) plus a day off in lieu. Except where there is a local agreement to the contrary, the statutory holiday night shift will be the shift where the majority of the hours of the shift occur on the statutory holiday.
