In recognition of the change in General Elections for the unworked City Council from every two years to every four years, in the years that July 4th falls on a Tuesday, the preceding Monday shall be a recognized paid holiday and in the years that July 4th falls on a Thursday, the following Friday shall be a recognized paid holiday. If insufficient staffing occurs as a result of the sign-up, Management will assign the day off based upon seniority.
