Common use of Home Free Guarantee Clause in Contracts

Home Free Guarantee. The County will operate a program to provide 21 employees with a free ride home by taxi, if on a given day the employee has commuted to work by 22 bus, carpool, vanpool, bike or walking on the day of the trip and has an emergency or works 23 unanticipated overtime that day which requires the employee to leave work at other than the 24 employee’s regularly scheduled quit time. Determination of what constitutes a qualified emergency 25 will be made at each worksite by the employee so designated by the County. Employees can exercise 26 their home free guarantee a maximum of eight (8) times per calendar year.
