Horizontal Advancement. Teachers shall advance horizontally on the salary schedule in accordance with the number of credit hours earned, subject to these conditions: 1. Credit hours must be reasonably related to the teacher's current or projected assignment with the District, unless specifically approved by the administration; 2. Credit hours must be completed with a grade of "C" or better (Pass in a Pass/Fail system); 3. Coursework must be for upper division or graduate credit, unless specifically approved by the administration.
