HORIZONTAL MOVEMENT DURING LIFE OF AGREEMENT. 1. If an employee completes the necessary credits for advancement to a higher column on the salary schedule, an adjustment in salary and on the salary schedule shall become effective beginning with the payroll period following written notification by the employee to the Superintendent. Necessary credits may include In-District courses which are approved for credit in advance by the District. Official verification of having successfully completed the additional course(s) will be submitted with the written notification.
