B. Section 2.07 is deleted and replaced with the following:
Housing Assistance Payments Contract. The Owner will enter into a Housing Assistance Payments Contract (HAP Contract) with a PHA under the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Rental Program of HUD. Under the HAP Contract, the PHA will make housing assistance payments to the Owner to assist the Tenant family, of which the Tenant is the representative, to lease the contract unit from the Owner. E.
Housing Assistance Payments Contract. The Landlord will enter into a Lease Agreement with the Tenant. Under the Lease, the Tenant will lease the unit and pay the tenant’s portion of the rent to the landlord and the housing assistance payments to the Landlord will be made by the Rental Assistance Program.
Housing Assistance Payments Contract. The Landlord will enter into a Lease Agreement with the Sponsor under the “SHELTER + CARE Program of the US Department of Housing & Urban Development (“HUD”). Under the Lease, the Sponsor will lease and make housing assistance payments to the Landlord. The Sponsor shall have the right to select a tenant (“Tenant”) of its own choice, exercising due care in their selection, to sub-lease the Premises from the Sponsor.
