Common use of I - RECOGNITION Clause in Contracts

I - RECOGNITION. A. The Board hereby recognizes the Association as the exclusive bargaining representative as defined in Section II of Act 336, Public Acts of Michigan for 1947 as amended by Xxx 000, Public Acts of Michigan for 1965 and later acts, for all full-time and regular part-time support personnel including bus mechanics, assistants, cooks, nurses, couriers, custodial/maintenance personnel, secretaries, clericals, mechanic helpers, and paraprofessionals, excluding teachers, supervisors, secretary to the superintendent, all central office employees, bus drivers, and substitutes. All personnel represented by the Association in the above-defined bargaining unit shall, unless otherwise indicated, hereinafter be referred to as "Employees", and references to male personnel shall include female personnel.
