If the Grievance or Disciplinary Appeal is still unresolved after receipt of the answer from the Chief of Police, the Grievance or Disciplinary Appeal may be submitted to the City Manager within ten (10) calendar days from the date the Chief of Police's response is received by the employee. The City Manager shall review the Grievance or Disciplinary Appeal and issue his response to the Chief of Police, the FOP president and the employee within ten (10) calendar days. At no time during this procedure will an employee be threatened with increased punishment or disciplinary action.

  • Disciplinary Appeals All forms of disciplinary action which are not appealable to the Civil Service Commission or the courts, except written or oral reprimands and Forms 475, shall be subject to review through Steps 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the grievance procedure.
